This was a day we went to June Mountain to go snowboarding earlier this winter. The conditions were great. A big change from last year. We are known for our water and ocean images but Tidalstock also has a collection of winter stock photography images available.

The last few weeks have created some great wind for southern CA. Here was a great day at C-street in Ventura. Not to many waves that day, but nice solid wind.

Often we get asked what images we like the best. That is always a hard question. We like all our images. Not because they are all great, but we can recall stories about most them. How cold the water was, how hard the conditions were to shoot in, or the blooper that turned out a great shot.

We plan to add much more kiting action as the thermals begin to pick up. Yeah, we know it sucks for surfing, but it is a fact around here we have to live with. And anyways, the action is much better than any daytime episodes of your favorite talk show host……..
